Pit Band Director
The North Shore Players are Looking for a PIT DIRECTOR for their upcoming production of Curtains.
Show Summary: A murder mystery musical show within a show ABOUT show people! Dark Comedy, 18+ casting.
Show Dates: November 2, 3, 4, 10, & 11 (Fri/Sat @7:30, Sun Matinee @2:30)
Responsibilities will include:
- Working closely with the Director and Music Director in a collaborative environment
- Attending rehearsals to accompany and aid Music Director
- Hire pit members
- Record basic accompaniment tracks for choreography and rehearsal use
(Our Media Specialist Erik can assist with this if needed!)

The North Shore Players of Danvers are Seeking a Stage Manager for their Fall 2018 Main Stage
Production of Curtains with music by John Kander, Lyrics by Fred Ebb, and Book by Rupert Holmes. The
musical follows the production ofRobbin Hood of the Old West,and the events following the mysterious
death of their very untalented star Jessica Cranshaw. Auditions are being held in July,
2018 and the production will go up the first two weekends in November.

If we schedule an in person interview with you, please come prepared with the following (either print or
- A copy of your resume
- A reference
- A brief description of how you would manage all aspects of tech and how you prefer to work
with a director
- A small portfolio of previous shows you have been stage manager for
- Stipend available
Application deadline is August 3rd, 2018. Interview’s will be scheduled for the following week.
The North Shore Players of Danvers are holding auditions for their Fall 2018 Main Stage Production of Curtains with music by John Kander, Lyrics by Fred Ebb, and Book by Rupert Holmes. The musical follows the production of Robbin Hood of the Old West, and the events following the mysterious death of their very untalented star Jessica Cranshaw. With a musical theatre-loving detective on the scene, everyone in the show is a suspect!
Please come prepared with a one (1) minute comedic monologue of your choosing and 16-32 bars of music from a song of your choosing. Please bring an updated headshot and resume as well!

- Wednesday, July 25th at 7:00pm
- Callbacks will still be on Thursday, July 19th at 7:00pm.
Production will go up the first two weekends of November.
